About LCTR

Our Team

The Licking County Trail Riders group was established in 2008. After several years of putting on premier dual sports, enduros and hare scrambles in Southern Ohio, the core members of LCTR sought to create an event in an area that had had not yet been explored for dual sporting use.

With the use of 100% of privateland, LCTR created an event that has grown year over year. 85 riders turned out for the maiden Flint Ridge Dual Sport in 2008. in 2013, that number swelled to over 280 participants by way of positive feedback through social media and word of mouth.

Through cooperation with the Ohio Historical Society, riders and their families can also experience education of the natives that sustained themselves through these lands. Flint Ridge contains quarry pits where all of the ancient people of Ohio came to get flint for both tools and weapons. The flint was also a trade item for many of these people. The flint was especially prized by the Hopewell Culture for its quality and beauty. A walk through the site brings home how hard people labored to remove this material from the earth.

LCTR is passionate about off road motorcycle riding and the continuation of the sport's heritage. Members combine for over 150 years of riding/racing experience, including representation at the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in 2013 (Italy), AMA Congress and have earned several AMA National Championships.
